ArchWorkPro is a brand of Buildwithaplan LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operating archworkpro.com and providing architectural drafting services (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share personal information through the Service, including our design-request form, client communications, and marketing.
1. Personal information we collect
- Contact data: your name, email address, and phone number.
- Project data: the property address, project type, estimated square footage, and project details you submit through our design-request form.
- Files you send us: sketches, schematics, site plans, photographs, surveys, and similar documents you provide for a project, whether through the Site or by email.
- Communications data: records of calls, emails, and chat conversations with us or our AI chat assistant.
- Engagement and billing data, if you become a client: the scope, price, and payment records for your project. We do not collect your full payment card number directly — invoices and payment links are handled by our payment processor.
- Device and usage data, collected automatically — see Section 2 and our Cookie Notice.
We do not offer user accounts or logins on the Site, so we do not collect or store account passwords.
2. Cookies and tracking technologies
We, and the following service providers, use cookies and similar technologies on the Site:
- Google Analytics 4 — site usage and traffic analytics.
- Microsoft Clarity — session-replay and heatmap analytics.
See our Cookie Notice for detail and how to control these.
3. AI chat assistant
The Site includes an AI-powered chat assistant. Messages you send it are processed to generate a response and may be shared with our AI service provider(s) to operate the feature. [CONFIRM: name the specific AI model provider(s) powering the chat backend and their data-retention/training-use terms.]
4. How we use your personal information
- Service delivery. To respond to your design request, quote and scope your project, produce and deliver drafting files, and coordinate with any structural engineer or Title 24 analyst you engage.
- Communication. To send project updates and, if you don’t opt out, marketing about our services.
- Service improvement. To understand how visitors use the Site, using the analytics tools in Section 2.
- Compliance and protection. To comply with law, enforce our terms, and prevent fraud or abuse.
5. How we share your personal information
- Service providers who host the Site or process data on our behalf, including Cloudflare (hosting, database, file storage), Resend (transactional email delivery), and our AI chat provider(s).
- Structural engineers, Title 24 analysts, or other professionals you ask us to coordinate with on your project — we share the project details necessary to make that introduction and keep the work moving.
- Professional advisors such as our attorneys and accountants, in the course of services they provide us.
- Authorities where required by law or to protect our or others’ rights and safety.
- Business transferees, if the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
6. Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to deliver the Service, satisfy legal or accounting obligations, and defend or establish legal claims, including retaining project files for a reasonable period after delivery in case revisions are needed.
7. State privacy rights notice
Residents of states with comprehensive consumer privacy laws — including California, Colorado, Connecticut, and Virginia, among others — may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, opt out of targeted advertising or profiling, and be free from discrimination for exercising these rights, subject to the exceptions in those laws. We do not sell personal information for money.
[CONFIRM before publishing: as implemented today, the Site has no cookie-consent banner and no Global Privacy Control handling, and Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity load unconditionally on every page. Confirm whether Google Analytics is configured with Google Signals or ad-conversion linking enabled — if so, that can count as a "sale" or "share" under the CCPA/CPRA and comparable state laws, which would require an actual working opt-out mechanism rather than the "we do not sell" statement above. This is a real gap, not just a drafting placeholder.]
To exercise a privacy right, email privacy@archworkpro.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing your request.
8. International visitors
We are based in the United States and our service providers operate primarily in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
9. Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
